Case description

Nextview reaches out to support companies in Europe with digital transformation from its strong home base in the Netherlands and Germany. Nextview’s ambition is taking a big leap forward. “We want to become the leading Salesforce expert in Europe focused on design thinking and customer experience.”

The realization of the new brand story and visual identity was led by Maastricht based creative agency Viastory. By partnering up with Betawerk, their digital expertise and development capacity were added to the project.

Together, we built a dynamic new website strongly rooted in Nextview’s thorough market-communication strategy. Featuring easy-to-use yet extremely flexible editorial options to swiftly launch content exactly in style, with compelling interactive features and many opportunities to highlight the custom-made illustrations.

Case goals and results

The main goal of this case was to build an exciting new website that enables Nextview to achieve its three primary objectives: creating brand awareness , generating valuable leads and attracting talented colleagues.

Creating brand awareness: the website is an unequivocal display of Nextview’s new brand with an injection of quality that raises the bar in communication power, both outside and inside the company. Living up to Nextview’s motto “The how is wow”, everyone on the team clearly understood how important it was to create a visually exciting platform with its own identity.

Generating valuable leads: the new website evokes confidence that Nextview is an expert in many industries and that their unique design-led approach leads to successful digital transformation, better performance and positive growth. By introducing a clean approach to Industries, Solutions and Approach, visitors are able to discover Nextview’s full range of activities easier than ever before.

Attracting talented colleagues: the new website shows potential colleagues the possibilities of a unique way of working and challenges them to embark on the growth adventure. The website features a dedicated ‘Careers’ section focussed on working at Nextview, listing Vacancies and an inspiring social-like Feed with positive impact stories and energetic team members.

Challenges

Building a flexible content management system that allows editors to build an immersive brand experience. We used layout-builder to give editors flexible tools to build great pages. Editors have extensive possibilities in color, formatting, (dynamic) content elements and media types, as well as settings to fine tune padding and whitespace within the layout. Interactive elements are powered by GSAP.

One of our main challenges was tackled by opening overview click throughs in modals. We did not want to break a website visit apart into conclusive page visits, but create a more seamless and layered experience. Scrolling down the explorative Trending and Feed overviews, context is easily lost when navigating towards single pages every time a visitor clicks an item. We addressed this recurrent issue by opening links in an overlay but at the same time offering a unique node as well.

Furthermore the website is of course fully integrated with Salesforce, in order for Nextview to optimize engagement. This meant working together precisely to align forms, styling and security requirements.
